)The applicant is advised that if a GCN is discovered during site preparation, enabling or construction phases, then all works must stop until the advice of a professional/suitably qualified ecologist and Natural England is obtained, including the need for a licence.
The following recommendations are provided to further reduce the likelihood of impacts on this species:
- Any trenches left overnight should be covered or provided with ramps to prevent GCN from becoming trapped.
- Any building materials such as bricks, stone etc. should be stored on pallets to discourage GCN from using them as shelter.

)The applicant is advised to avoid the bird nesting season (March to August). If this cannot be avoided, then the site should be checked for nesting birds by a suitably qualified
ecologist prior to any site clearance (including vegetation clearance) taking place. If an occupied nest is found onsite, then an exclusion zone of a minimum of 5m around the nest would be required and maintained until the nest is no longer in use.The applicant is advised to avoid the bird nesting season (March to August).
