Description:Works to trees protected by a tree preservation order: Remove branches hanging over driveway from two Lime Trees (T2) on neighbouring property as they deposit a lot of sticky sap on the drive. Raise the crown by 2 metres of Beech Tree (T4) to the boundary edge and cut back the branches covering the garden by 2 to 3 metres. Trees protected by TPO 26/2004 and listed as G6 and T4 respectively

Conditions or reasons:1) This consent relates only to the following works:

Beech T4
-Raise crown by up to 2m
- Reduce branches by up to 2m as appropriate for the overall canopy.

Lime T2
- Reduce lowest branches overhanging driveway to boundary.

REASON: To identify the scope of this consent
2) All works hereby consented to shall be carried out within two years of the date of this consent.

REASON: To allow the Local Planning Authority an opportunity to re-evaluate the tree following any long delay in carrying out work previously granted consent
3) Prior to the commencement of the works, it will be the responsibility of the owner/applicant to ensure that the appointed contractor is fully aware and understands the work specification and all attached conditions. Failure to comply with these may lead to prosecution by the authority.

REASON: To ensure the compliance of the work specification.
4) All works for which consent is granted shall comply with British Standard BS 3998:2010 "Tree work - Recommendations". Any works which do not comply with those granted consent or which are not in accordance with the above mentioned British Standard may result in action by the Local Planning Authority against the owner of the trees and the contractor.
