Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/19/01598/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development, by reason of its scale, mass and bulk, located within close proximity to the southwestern boundary, would represent a cramped form of development and would therefore form an overdevelopment of the application site. As such, the proposed development would be out of keeping with and detrimental to the character and appearance of the site and surroundings of the Barton-Le-Clay Conservation Area. The public benefits would not outweigh the harm to the Conservation Area and the development does not represent a sustainable, high quality form of development, contrary to Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review and Sections 12 and 16 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2019).
